Love to read this Nino, I can say it's my favourite post from yours! ❤️ I relate so much with all you described, I don't want to get sticked to one or two materials, I love the thrill of exploring new things and the fun I experience along the way...plus I don't need to focus on discovering my artistic voice (that will happen naturally with time and practice) or to just do the art that please others. I always have in my mind that I make art for me first, what comes after is always a bonus. Have a nice weekend 👋

Yes, yes, yes! There was a moment earlier this year where I was sketching with a group. We were all sitting apart, so you did not necessarily know what everyone else was doing. I used a new material for the first time. Afterwards we did a “throw down” and looked at each others work. One of the guys exclaimed, “This is probably by Nino.” He recognised my work right through the new material. That’s the thing with style, it follows you. Not the other way around.
