Hello and welcome!

Let me start off with this one thing: I love to draw; I love to paint; and most of all I just love creating! And I cannot stop talking about it. I often hear from people who know me personally, that they feel encouraged and inspired to pick up their sketchbooks again after years of not creating anything and I would love to extend that to more people. There is something about drawing your world that helps you to stop, see and experience more of it. Even if your drawings are unrecognisable, the act of looking intently and drawing what you see, brings a new appreciation for the thing that you are observing.

So, in this space I want to take you along on my journey of making art in a combination of text, videos and still images. You can look forward to behind the scenes looks at what I have been up to, as well as my process and approach to creating. I will tell the stories behind paintings or drawings. There will be talks about art supplies, because, face it, it’s just fun. You can also expect art and sketchbook challenges. Sketchbook flip throughs. And most important - you will hopefully find inspiration and encouragement to create.
